SOLDIER’S QUILTS
Here are just a few photos from the visit from Matt Johnson from the Governor's Office. He came to share some experiences he has had with the families that have received the Soldier Quilts. Click on the photos to enlarge.
Cuddle Quilters
As usual, this group has been busy. At the March mtg they reported giving away numerous quilts, including a number of textured miniquilts that went to the Alzheimer’s Hospital Unit.
Cindy wants everyone to remember the quilt challenge. Everyone is anxious for the June meeting show & tell so we can see all the lovely quilts that have been made for the Cuddlers Also, a reminder that the Cuddle Quilters meet @ the church every guild Tuesday @ 1PM to sew and share. Newcomers are always welcome. A good time is had by all, w/ dinner either out or carried in (usually decided @ the time).

THE PICKFORD AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY is sponsoring a QUILT SHOW, June 13th, 10am - 6PM, and, June 14th, 10 am - 6pm at the Pickford High School Gym. There will be vendors, a bake sale, salad lunch ($4), and an afghan and hand made quilt raffle. All proceeds are to be used for the museum operations.
